Here at Scrap-bags I design and sell sewing patterns for handbags, purses and totes, as well as quilts and other items.
I sell ONLY to independent quilt and fabric retailers. The mass market stores have asked and I have declined.
I am commited to you the independent retailer!
We test all of our products as products, then revise them and write the sewing patterns. We then test the sewing patterns with a number of testers to insure the patterns are acurate and easy to understand.
Our patterns are both fun and functional!

Pattern 1002 The Bayport Bag
This bag was designed just for me! I wanted a bag that had easy access interior pockets, one for my cell phone and one for my keys. I also, wanted a bag that was large but not bulky. This bag looks great with a little in it or stuffed full. It would make a great class if you want to teach quilting (hand or machine), because you make the quilt sandwich and quilt it BEFORE you do anything else. You also bind it just like a quilt (another thing you could use this bag to teach). There is also an optional Yo-yo detail. YoYo instructions included or use the Clover 60mm YoYo maker!
